SENIOR PHONE BANK THROUGH THE CITY

CHATTANOOGA AREA FOOD BANK

Due to the recent effects of the COVID-19 response, The Chattanooga Area Food Bank is in need of volunteer support. Volunteer needs include warehouse help, food sorting & packing. Please, find a volunteer shift that is convenient for you.

BUS FOOD DELIVERY - HAMILTON COUNTY SCHOOLS

Hamilton County Schools is committed to supporting our students during school closure. We have activated our buses to deliver meals across the county in addition to our school-based meal sites. 

Buses will run on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday beginning Monday, March 23. Bus riders are limited to 2-3 volunteers on each bus to assist the driver with handing out meals at each drop off location.

YMCA SCHOOL CLOSURE FOOD PROGRAM

To address hunger in our communities, the YMCA of Metropolitan Chattanooga is partnering with the USDA's Food Service Program to help provides free meals to children aged up to 18 during this unexpected school closure.

DAY CENTER SUPPORT FOR TRANSIENT COMMUNITY

Volunteers are needed to support services at the ReCreate Cafe, our day center for those experiencing homelessness.  Amidst the COVID 19 outbreak, we continue to serve those in need.  

We are currently operating adjusted services outdoors, providing needed items to go and sharing up-to-date, healthcare guidelines and information with guests.
