Elementary Afterschool Programs
Currently, Girls Inc. of Chattanooga has elementary-age afterschool sites for ages 6 to 8 at Hardy Elementary School and at Harrison United Methodist Church. Our sites provide healthy afterschool snacks, homework assistance, academic enrichment and programming based on Girls Inc.'s nationally acclaimed curricula. This year girls in our afterschool sites are learning from Girls Inc. curricula including Media Literacy, The Magic Within, and Discovery Leadership. Additionally, girls practice public speaking, participate in art projects and go on fun, educational field trips.
